3. Every Day

We go where we need to go,
just so, just right, we go to the light,
and then somehow, we don't stay,
slowly we run away

2. 51 Year Old Woman Loses Battle To Cancer

By Rabbi Neil Fleischmann

He said that he knew little
and understood even less
he wrote it as a poem
it was about someone else

Standing in his position
his world was question free
pain illness and suffering
were problems for you and me

Then the fat lady died
no longer could he sing
but only sigh wail and cry
the truth no longer denied

1. The Green Eyed Monster Meets The Thing With Feathers

By Neil Fleischmann

When no hope remains
she makes you crazy
she makes you destroy
what you once hoped for

When no hope remains
she has you kill off
what you gave up on
in yourself and others

As long as there is hope
she leaves some space
for you to try and change
and to banish her forever

As long as there is hope
she lays down her arms
and holds back her force
she lets you have peace
